SecurityMob Risk Management System Beta announced

SecurityMob have announced plans for a new innovate Service, called the Risk Management System (RMS), has started beta testing.

The service is planned to extend the current SecurityMob service portfolio by providing subscribers with a better way of understanding and managing real risks to their organisation. Subscribers will be able to determine is critical within their environment and prioritise tasks and resources in dealing with risks across the organisation.

A vulnerability within Microsoft Windows 2000 affects each company in different ways, for some the vulnerability may be critical, for others it could be a non event. The RMS allows organisations to determine which vulnerabilities and technologies are critical to them, not the internet at large. By understanding which vulnerabilities pose the greater risk to them, organisations can better manage their resources in mitigating those risks.

The Risk Management System is targeted for launch in August, 2005.
